PYR Cancer Relay For Life scheduled |

GUNNISON-- The American Cancer Society will hold the annual Relay for Life Friday and Saturday, June 27 and 28, from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m., at the Gunnison Valley High School football field, 45 East 600 South.
The activities commence on Friday evening at 6 p.m., with the opening ceremony and survivor lap. A dinner will be served free for all cancer survivors. There is a charge per person with a discount for families for the meal.
A silent auction and a live auction will be held at 8 p.m.; at 9:30 p.m., there will be a luminary ceremony; and at 12 a.m., a fight back ceremony and pledge.
Anyone interested in donating cash or items for the auctions may contact Tina Clark at 435-528-3643, Vicky Fielding, 528-3441 or Anne Childs, 528-7877. All money raised from the auctioned items go to the American Cancer Society to help fund research, education and much more.
