The BFGoodrich tires GT LIVE series returns to Salt Lake City on June 28 & 29 for GT LIVE 6 at Miller Motorsports Park, with the strongest content line-up since 2004.

Headlining the show is Formula D Pro/Am Drift presented by Mazda, featuring hot new drivers from California, Colorado, Arizona, Nevada, Utah and Idaho battling for a chance to earn a Formula D license at the season finale.

It will be the first time a drift competition takes place at world-famous Miller Motorsports Park and the facility is ideally suited for the competition, featuring a "built in" drift section through turns 13, 14 and 15.

The on track action is complemented by a battle of the bands taking place right above pit lane so fans will be able to take in live music as they watch the competitors "drift 'til dark."

The Redline Time Attack competition is being billed as the "WRX Showdown," featuring the five fastest Subaru teams in the country gunning it out for the glory of a track record on Tooele's challenging east course. Among the teams expected to attend are Crawford Performance, Cobb Tuning, PDX Tuning, GST and DynoComp.

Time attack record holder and Subaru factory driver Eiji "Tarzan" Yamada will be piloting the Crawford Performance car and hopes to put up some fast times in the '08 Subaru STi.

"The car is still very early in the development cycle and Crawford and its partners are really taking the lead in the R&D of the '08 platform. Even in Japan the top shops still haven't come close to reaching the full potential of the new car. I'll give it all I have and see where we end up," said Yamada.

In a GT LIVE first, the DynoComp experience will allow fans to get an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at the inner workings of a top time attack team. The DynoComp GP garage will be open to the public for tours, Q&A sessions with owner/driver Richard Garcia, model photo sessions and autograph signings. A few media and fans will be lucky enough to get a ride with Richard in the DynoComp race car.

The BFGoodrich Tires GT sim race will allow fans to get rides in race and time attack cars at no extra charge. The Mazda drift experience will feature the three-car international all-star team from Formula D giving rides to fans, also at no extra charge.

The SCCA Auto-X presented by Cobb Tuning lets GT LIVE guests put down timed laps, also at no additional charge, and to top it off, the BFGoodrich tires karting zone makes the karting free to the public, which by now has become a GT LIVE tradition.

"We're proud of our content line up because it allows a consumer to come in, race karts, do timed laps in their own car on the auto-x, take it on the track for Tarzan's Lapping Sessions or go as far as competing in the Redline Time Attack Street class. No other event offers so much cutting edge and interactive content at a world-class facility for only $25" remarked GT LIVE creator Randy Grube.

Tickets can be purchased by calling 435-277-RACE.
