Housing needed for 2008 World Folkfest Print E-mail
Daily Herald

The Springville World Folkfest 2008 will be held July 12-19, and housing is needed for some of the visiting performers. If you can open your heart and your home for that week, please volunteer now.

If you are looking for a great way to immerse yourselves in culture and serve young international artists, the World Folkfest is the answer. They have a need for families willing to share their homes with performers from Canada and Poland.

The hosting dates would include July 11 through July 22, and would involve providing meals and transportation to and from the Spring Acres Arts Park and other Folkfest activities daily during that time.

Host families recieve entrance to all Folkfest events including evening performances, picnics, a swim party and also the amazing chance to bring world culture into your home.

If you would be interested in sharing your home for all or part of that time period, please contact Chris Johnson, 465-3244, if you live in the Payson area and south; Tylyn Weight, 491-1068, for north of Payson; and Trudy Peck, 885-6709, for any area or general questions.
