National Trails Awards nomination requested
Every two years American Trails presents the National Trails Awards to recognize the tremendous contributions of volunteers, professionals, businesses, and other leaders working to create a nationwide trails system.
Nominations for trail projects in Utah can be submitted until June 30.
Categories include Trail Advocacy, Trail Worker, Best State Trails, and Partnership awards. Nominations should cover accomplishments during the period of June 1, 2006 - May 31, 2008.¬ The awards will be presented at the 19th National Trails Symposium in Little Rock, Arkansas.
