AMERICAN FORK

CONTRIBUTING -- A 24-year-old man was arrested for providing alcohol to a minor.

RETAIL THEFT -- A 29-year-old man was arrested for retail theft and possession of a dangerous weapon. The man had stolen a shopping cart from a local business and was in possession of a "switch blade" knife.

DOMESTIC VIOLENCE -- A 33-year-old man was arrested for telephone harassment, domestic violence and disorderly conduct. The man had made numerous unwanted calls to his ex-wife. When she did not answer, he went to her residence and started an argument. During the argument he started hitting her vehicle with his hands

DISORDERLY CONDUCT -- A 32-year-old man was arrested for disorderly conduct. The man refused to leave a UTA bus after being told several times.

TELEPHONE HARASSMENT -- A 36-year-old man was arrested for telephone harassment. The man sent a threatening text message to an acquaintance of his.

INTOXICATION -- A 30-year-old woman was arrested for intoxication. The woman was located lying down on the back deck of a residence she does not reside at, and she was intoxicated.

CHILD ABUSE -- A 35-year-old woman was arrested for child abuse. The woman was observed by a citizen hitting her 12-year-old in the head. The victim had a bump on his head.

RETAIL THEFT -- A 23-year-old man was arrested for retail theft after he attempted to take a music CD from a local business.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT -- A 21-year-old woman was arrested for disorderly conduct. The woman lives in an apartment complex and she was upset with her neighbors and started yelling at them, threatening to physical harm them.

THREATS -- A 33-year-old man was arrested for threats against life or property. The man sent several text messages to his step-brother stating he was going to kill him.

ASSAULT DOMESTIC VIOLENCE -- A 54-year-old woman was arrested for assault domestic violence and criminal mischief domestic violence. The woman and her husband got into an argument. During the argument, the woman took several glasses and threw them to the ground, breaking them. She then took a glass containing a drink and threw it at her husband, hitting him in the chest.

RETAIL THEFT -- A 20-year-old man was arrested for retail theft after he stole a pair of boots and a coat from a local business and then tried to return the items for cash.

STOLEN PROPERTY POSSESSION -- A 49-year-old man was arrested for possession of stolen property. The man was found in possession of a wallet that had recently been stolen.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT -- A 31-year-old woman was arrested for disorderly conduct. The woman dropped her nine-year-old son off at a local business and stated she would be back to get him. The woman forgot and did not return, so employees contacted the police.

CEDAR HILLS

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF -- Officers responded to a report of criminal mischief. The victim stated that someone damaged her lawn, putting some kind of chemical on it to kill it.

RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY -- Officers responded to a report of a residential burglary where jewelry items were taken.

BURGLARY -- Officers responded to a burglary and criminal mischief report. Entry was made into a storage building at the golf course and several golf carts were damaged.

LEHI

TRAFFIC ACCIDENT -- A passenger was injured June 15 when he jumped out of a slow moving vehicle.

DOMESTIC VIOLENCE -- A man was cited with intoxication and domestic violence criminal mischief on June 16. A woman was cited with intoxication and disorderly conduct.

THEFT -- On June 15, a trailer containing a van seat and a measuring device were stolen as collateral. They were later returned. This case will be reviewed by the city prosecutor for possible charges.

THEFT -- Copper wiring was stolen from a locked box on a construction site on June 16.

WEAPONS OFFENSE -- Possible gunshots were reported on June 17. Police found the noises to be the result of fireworks.

TRAFFIC OFFENSE -- A man was booked into the Utah County jail on June 17 on a warrant and cited with DUI drugs, possession of paraphernalia, possession of marijuana, driving on suspension, no insurance, and no seat belt.

TRAFFIC ACCIDENT HIT-AND-RUN -- An individual ran through the arms of the railroad sign without stopping on June 17. The individual was cited for leaving the scene of an accident, window obstruction and more, unsafe vehicle and more.

TRAFFIC OFFENSE -- Registered owners of six vehicles were cited for parking in a no parking zone on June 21.

AGENCY ASSIST -- Request from Vernal dispatch on June 21 to contact a Lehi woman because her vehicle was found in a ditch in their area. Contact was made and the woman said her husband had already called and told her. She was going to call Vernal to report the vehicle stolen.

TRAFFIC STOP -- An individual was cited on June 20 for revoked registration, suspended driver's license, and no insurance. The vehicle was impounded.

PRESCRIPTION FRAUD -- A woman was booked into the Utah County jail on June 19 on 47 counts of prescription fraud.

PLEASANT GROVE

ASSAULT -- An individual at a care center assaulted two employees on June 25. Officers cited the individual for simple assault.

ASSAULT -- A report was taken on June 27 about a family problem involving an intoxicated person. The individual was arrested and taken to the Utah County jail.

BURGLARY -- Officers responded to a burglary call at a snow shack on June 26. Officers found the locks had been cut and the snow shack had been rummaged through. It appeared the individuals were looking for cash.

VEHICLE BURGLARY -- Reporting party said on June 26 that his vehicle was burglarized while he was camping in the Dry Canyon trail head area. There were several items stolen out of the vehicle including a Canon digital camera, miscellaneous CD's, leather wallet, Visa credit card, Utah driver's license, leather purse, pink wallet, Virginia driver's license, and prescribed Adderall.

CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE PROBLEM -- On June 26, officers checked out a suspicious vehicle with two occupants. This resulted in the arrest of a man and woman for possession of drug paraphernalia and marijuana in a drug-free-zone. They were released from custody after signing their citations and promising to appear.

CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE PROBLEM -- On June 26, the reporting party found drug paraphernalia in a garbage bag that was inside a rented out portion of his residence. The paraphernalia was picked up and destroyed.

CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE PROBLEM -- A traffic stop on June 28 for expired registration resulted in the area of a man and woman. The man was issued a citation for driving on suspension, expired registration, possession of drug paraphernalia in a drug-free-zone, and was released after posting bail on a warrant. The woman was booked into the Utah County jail for possession of drug paraphernalia in a drug-free-zone, possession of methamphetamine in a drug-free-zone, providing false information to a police officer, and three valid warrants.

THEFT -- On June 24, three individuals were reported at a business shaking doors and startling the reporting party. Upon further investigation, it was found that a trunk box bolted to the back of a scooter had been stolen and the windshield broken.

THEFT -- On June 26, a Ridgid drill was reported taken from a construction site.

THEFT -- A homemade go-cart, red in color, was reported stolen from a garage in the backyard of a residence sometime between June 23 and June 25.

THEFT -- On June 27, police received a report that someone had stolen a $1,300 two-karat ring while she was at the school she was attending.

THEFT/ARREST -- On June 28, an individual reported the theft of a wallet and checkbook. The suspect was found and arrested.
