Orem man arrested for touching kids at pool |

A 71-year-old Orem man was arrested Wednesday after a life guard at Seven Peaks Waterpark told police that she saw him inappropriately touch two children.
Ronald Farr was booked into the Utah County Jail on one count of sexual abuse of a child. As of Thursday afternoon he was still being held on a $10,000 cash-only bail.
According to an affidavit filed in Provo's 4th District Court, a life guard became suspicious when she saw Farr approaching children in the wading area of the children's pool at the waterpark. The life guard told police that she saw him put his hand on a 13-year-old girl's breasts. While the life guard was calling security she said she saw him put his hand on the front of a 6-year-old boy's swimsuit.
Park security detained Farr until police arrived. |
