PC Laptops founder joins Intel board -- Dan "The Laptop Man" Young, president and founder of South Jordan-based PC Laptops, joined Intel Corp.'s advisory board of advisors.

The Intel Channel Partner Program Premier Board of Advisors consists of 16 top members of Intel's reseller channel. As a board member, Young will become a key part of product and membership program planning.

PC Laptops has seven Utah stores including one in Orem and one in Henderson, Nev.

"Joining the Intel advisory board gives PC Laptops the ability to drive great products to the customer even faster and allows us to help drive new product innovation," Young said. "PC Laptops is now a contributing part of the research and development team for Intel and provides insights into what customers are looking for. It allows Intel to know what to focus on in future developments and how best to distribute its products to the customers."
