Lehi nutraceuticals company buys property for new HQ--Young Living Essential Oils, a Lehi-based nutritional supplements and personal care products maker, completed a purchase of 16 acres of land in Spanish Fork for its new corporate headquarters.
Construction of a new 150,000-square-foot office building, located near the company's 107,000-square foot warehouse and production center, is scheduled to be completed by 2011.
"With the great freeway access and central location of this new, state of the art office space, we will have what we need to become a billion-dollar-a-year company," said Steve Bentley, Young Living's chief financial officer.

SLC law firm honored -- Workman Nydegger, an intellectual property law firm based in Salt Lake City, was ranked the top IP law firm in Utah, and five of its attorneys were also ranked among the best IP attorneys in the nation. The award was given by the 2008 Chambers USA Guide, a directory of the most effective law firms and attorneys in the nation.
Rick Nydegger, president and managing director of Workman Nydegger, and Larry Laycock took first place awards, while John Stringham and C.J. Veverka took second place, and Eric L. Maschoff took third place.
The rankings are based on the attorneys' technical legal ability, professional conduct, client service, commercial astuteness, diligence, commitment and other qualities valued by clients.
Workman Nydegger specializes in all areas of intellectual property law, including patent, trademark, copyright, unfair competition and related litigation and licensing matters.
