Thursday
Local dancer Thayne Jasperson got the hook from FOX-TV's "So You Think You Can Dance." That just means he's got more time to teach other people his movies. Get a piece of the action by registering for Odyssey Dance's 11th annual Dance Utah! event, today through Saturday at the McKay Events Center on the campus of Utah Valley University.
Friday
Enjoy an evening of classical music by Moonlight. No, not by the light of the moon -- Moonlight is an instrumental father-daughter, piano-violin duo made up of Steve and Aubree Oliverson. The show begins at 7 p.m. at the Founders Auditorium at Tahitian Noni International, 333 W. River Park Drive in Provo.
Saturday
Who says there's only one way to rock? Wait until you see (and hear) the electrifying old folks in the documentary "Young@Heart." Catch it for just $1.50 at the Festival Cinemas behind University Mall in Orem. |
