DETROIT -- Chrysler LLC says it will cut 1,000 salaried jobs worldwide by Sept. 30.
The automaker announced the cuts Wednesday in a letter to employees.
Chrysler says the layoffs are needed because of the prolonged slump in the U.S. auto industry.
Chrysler spokesman David Elshoff says the company hopes most of the cuts will be accomplished through early retirements, attrition and voluntary separation programs. But he says involuntary layoffs will be considered if the company fails to meet its targets.
How long has it been since you've had a mental checkup?
Unfortunately in the prison setting he was not a stand out kinda guy (kinda kept a low profile from Bubba) so I am willing to bet his only mental health testing was during admission.

Could have bought a F150 and put some Americans to work, but no . . .
Yes, I am happy with myself, thank you! I helped put dinner on the table for every single American who built that truck. And, assuming that the American workers have a 401(k), they benefited from those profits as well.
We used to have an F150 . . . it was about 3 years old when the transfer case went out followed shortly by heater core. Prior to that, my husband had an F250 that blew the engine 2 months after he bought it. Getting burned twice is more than enough.
Sounds like if you followed proper maintenance proceedures you'd have vehilces that last longer.
Please explain what maintenance is normally done on a two-month-old vehicle? Also, what do you do to maintain the heater core?
