The Utah Department of Transportation advises motorists of the following lane restrictions due to construction work.
I-15 Spanish Fork
July 21 - UDOT continues work on replacing two bridges on I-15 south of the Spanish Fork Main Street exit. There will be temporary closures of the inside lane on Southbound I-15 from 9am to 3pm. 100 South in Spanish Fork will also be closed at the I-15 bridge. Detour routes will be posted.
US40 near Daniel's
Summit & Current Creek
July 21 - UDOT is working on two projects on US 40 that involve replacing guardrail and repaving the road. The first project near Daniel's Summit Lodge will start at Milepost 33 and go to Milepost 34.5. The second project near Current Creek starts at Milepost 52 and ends at Milepost 58. One lane of traffic will be open in each direction in the work zone with no passing lanes. Construction should be completed in August
US40 Milepost 139 to Milepost 141
July 21 - Construction of passing lanes is currently underway. Fill material is being hauled to the site with work being done on box culvert extensions. Speed limits will be reduced to 50 MPH through the construction zone. Work will take place from 6 AM to 5:30 PM Monday through Friday.
US40 Ouray Junction to Milepost 126
July 21 - UDOT is adding acceleration/deceleration lanes and a center turn lane at Ouray Junction on US40. A passing lane will also be constructed on US40 westbound to milepost 126. There are no traffic restrictions in place with this project.
2000 West in Pleasant Grove
July 21 - Construction is taking place on the east side of the road preparing for sidewalk and asphalt paving. Paving is anticipated to begin by July 14th.
800 North in Orem
July 21 - The south half of the 800 East intersection is closed for the next month for underground utility work, excavation and paving. Traffic on 800 North between 800 East and 1000 East has been switched to the north side while asphalt removal takes place on the south side. Center medians are under construction from 400 East to 600 East. Left turns have been reinstated at 400 West and 400 East.
