This fall Hobble Creek Learning Center is offering a variety of educational programs for children of varied ages, educational needs and interests. The programs are designed primarily for toddlers, preschoolers and elementary students.

Toddlers and moms will experiment with paint, clay, textures and drawing. At the end of each session toddlers will have a new work of art for the fridge, new friends and moms won't have to worry about cleaning up. Mommy, Monet and Me! is $14 per month. Students need register in advance by calling 491-0825.

Preschool age students are invited to stretch and grow in our Yoga Momma class. Moms and toddlers can work on flexibility, concentration and relaxation while having fun with their moms or dads. To learn more about this class please contact Hobble Creek Learning Center.

Elementary age students (K-6) can sign up for After School Art Classes. After School Art Classes are monthly classes, each with a unique emphasis such as drawing, painting, sculpture, ancient art, world art and modern art. Students will learn about artistic techniques, use a variety of tools, and create unique works of art.

At the end of each month students will display their artwork at a special gallery night.

Hobble Creek Learning Center is currently accepting new students for one-on-one tutoring sessions. Tutoring is available for students in grades K-12 in all subject areas. Students work individually with trained, college-educated teachers. New tutoring students undergo a professional assessment by the Center Director and are then assigned to a professional tutor. Tutoring sessions are available on a first come first serve basis, and are available Monday-Friday from 2 to 7 p.m.
