SANPETE COUNTY-- Sanpete County needs residents help to update the Sanpete County General Plan.
The plan will serve as the "blueprint" for the future and guide land use decisions.
Residents are encouraged to help identify issues that need to be addressed, such as: population growth, protecting rural character, maintaining agricultural land, job creation and public safety.
Planning workshops will be held Wednesday, Aug. 28, at 6 p.m., in the Sanpete County Courthouse and Thursday, Sept. 4, at 6 p.m., at Mt. Pleasant City Hall.
Residents may also express their opinion by taking an online survey at sanpete.com/pages/plan. |
