Obama out-raising McCain in Utah Print E-mail

SALT LAKE CITY -- Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama is raising more money in heavily Republican Utah than John McCain.

Through the end of July, disclosure forms show Obama raised almost $5 for every $4 his Republican rival netted from Utah donors.

Obama's campaign said he has raised $706,046 in Utah; McCain raised $595,320.

McCain is not only a Republican but also a senator from neighboring Arizona.

Obama's supporters in Utah explained the political riddle by saying their candidate is generating more enthusiasm than McCain.

What hogwash. Wait until the Aug numbers come in. The Magic Obama has peaked. Zogby has him down already to McCain by 5 points and McCain has yet to tear a new a**hole in the Magic One during the debates.

You Liberals had your run. You took congress and fouled that up. Your Magic Obama has now peaked. Look for giant gains in House and the Senate for the GOP as well as us retaining the WH.
