Sunroc Corporation, a leading provider of building products, announced that it has purchased Standard Builders Supply -- a major building components and lumber company headquartered in Salt Lake City.
Employees and operations of Standard Builders will become part of the organization at Sunroc's new Salt Lake City facility (2355 West 1500 South). Standard Builders' ongoing customer commitments will be fulfilled by Sunroc effective Monday, Aug, 18, 2008.
The owners of Standard Builders, Mike Hansen and Jim Ridd, are retiring and will pursue other interests.
