No school will be held Sept. 1 in honor of Labor Day. Lehi High School Football game - The Lehi Pioneers football team will play Springville High on Friday, Aug. 29 at Lehi High School. FFA State Fair -- The Future Farmers of America Lehi Chapter is hosting the annual FFA State Fair on Sept. 5 at the high school. Stage dance -- There will be a stag dance after the Sept. 5 football game at the school. Picture Make-up Day -- Those who didn't care for the photos taken or missed the first photo day can get new photos taken on Picture Make-up Day on Sept. 22. Conferences -- Parent/Teacher Conference is on Sept. 24 at the school from 3-8 p.m. Mascot Bowl -- The annual Mascot Bowl with kids against the mascots is Sept. 29. Proceeds from this popular annual event will go towards the school's Jazz Bear Christmas shopping program in Lehi. In order to group students with others in their nearest locations, please include phone number, city and subdivision. Board meeting -- The board will meet today at 8 p.m. in the school gym. Willowcreek Middle School Welcome back dance -- Students are invited to a back to school dance Friday from 3-4:30 p.m. Success night -- Parents are invited to an information meeting at the school on Sept. 4 from 6-8 p.m. The first group will meet at 6 p.m., followed by time to visit departmental booths. The same seminar will be presented again at 7 p.m. The meeting will introduce parents to the walk away testing program, teaching methods and curriculum standards at Willow Creek Middle School and offer tips for supporting students' learning at home. PTSA membership -- Parents and students are encouraged to join the PTSA. Membership is $5 and supports school activities. Cedar Valley Elementary Bookmobile -- The next Bookmobile visit will be on Sept. 4 at the school from 10:30 a.m.-noon. Eagle Valley Elementary Fundraiser -- Kickoff for the Happenings book fundraiser will be Friday. The school fundraiser will run from Aug. 29-Sept. 5. Students will be selling coupon books filled with discounts at local businesses. Room moms' tea -- PTA room mothers are invited to the Room Moms' Tea on Sept. 8 from 3-4 p.m. Harvest Elementary Back to school night -- Everyone is invited to visit students' classrooms at Back to School Night on Sept. 4 from 5-7 p.m. PTA safety fair -- Parents, students and the community are invited to the PTA safety fair on Sept. 13. Hidden Hollow Elementary Green ribbon week -- This week is PTA Green Ribbon Week. Parents are encouraged to discuss safety with their students at home. Students will participate in daily safety strategies and personal and school safety activities. Lakeview Academy Middle school open house -- Middle school students and their parents are invited to a back to school night today from 7-8:30 p.m. Pony Express Elementary Hearing check -- Students will have their hearing screened today, beginning at 8:15 a.m. Ranches Academy Spirit day -- Friday will be school spirit day. Students may wear nice jeans and a red, white or blue polo shirt. School will dismiss at noon. Constitution day -- Students will participate in patriotic activities to honor the adoption of the U.S. Constitution on Sept. 17. Saratoga Shores Elementary Fundraiser -- The kickoff for the school fundraiser will be today. Students will be selling Happenings coupon books from Aug. 28-Sept. 12. Parents and members of the community are encouraged to support the fundraiser and benefit the school as well as using the coupons at local businesses. Hearing check -- Students will have their hearing screened Friday. Vision test -- Students will have their vision screened on Sept. 9. Birthday table -- Students with birthdays in August and September are invited to visit the birthday table during lunch on Sept. 5. |
