No school will be held Sept. 1 in honor of Labor Day. Lehi High School FFA State Fair - The Future Farmers of America Lehi Chapter is hosting the annual FFA State Fair on Sept. 5 at the high school. Stage dance - There will be a stag dance after the Sept. 5 football game at the school. Picture Make-up Day -- Those who didn't care for the photos taken or missed the first photo day can get new photos taken on Picture Make-up Day on Sept. 22. Conferences - Parent/Teacher Conference is on Sept. 24 at the school from 3-8 p.m. Mascot Bowl - The annual Mascot Bowl with kids against the mascots is Sept. 29. Proceeds from this popular annual event will go towards the school's Jazz Bear Christmas shopping program in Lehi. Willowcreek Middle School Welcome back dance - Students are invited to a back to school dance tomorrow from 3-4:30 p.m. Success night - Parents are invited to an information meeting at the school on Sept. 4 from 6-8 p.m. The first group will meet at 6 p.m., followed by time to visit departmental booths. The same seminar will be presented again at 7 p.m. The meeting will introduce parents to the walk away testing program, teaching methods and curriculum standards at Willow Creek Middle School and offer tips for supporting students' learning at home. PTSA membership - Parents and students are encouraged to join the PTSA. Membership is $5 and supports school activities. Lehi Jr. High School PTA activity - The PTA Back to School Bash will be Friday from 2:45 to 4:15 p.m. The event is for PTA members only. Fox Hollow Elementary Back to School Night -- Back to School Night at Fox Hollow will be today from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Hearing screening - Students will receive hearing screenings on Friday. Green Ribbon Week - Green Ribbon Week activities to promote environmental awareness will be Sept. 2-5. Eaglecrest Elementary Room Parent Orientation - Room parent orientation will be today. Spirit Week - Eaglecrest Spirit Week activities will be Sept. 2-5. Sego Lily Elementary Field trip - Third-graders and ALL students will be attending the Timpanogos Storytelling Festival Friday, Aug. 29. Science Activity - Mrs. Ahlstrom is holding a science date night Wednesday, Sept. 3 from 6-7:30 p.m. Lehi Elementary Room Parent Tea - The Room Parent Tea will be Wednesday, Sept. 3 at 3:30 p.m. Meadow Elementary Vision screening - Students will receive vision screenings on today. Renaissance Academy Field trip - Grades 3, 5, 7 and 8 will visit the Storytelling Festival for a school field trip today. Board meeting -- The Renaissance Academy Board will meet today at 7 p.m. Renaissance Fair -- The school will host its annual Renaissance Fair on Sept. 14. Job Openings -- Renaissance Academy is looking to fill job openings in a variety of positions. Students are allowed to wear jeans (no holes or fraying) with a Renaissance Academy shirt, or any dress code shirt on Fridays.
