SALT LAKE CITY-- The Utah Public Service Commission has granted Rocky Mountain Power a $3.2 million rate increase.
Commission spokeswoman Julie Orchard says the effect on customers' monthly bills hasn't been calculated yet.
The increase granted Monday is on top of a more than $36 million increase the commission gave the state's largest electricity provider in August.
Rocky Mountain Power had requested more than $160 million, which the company said it needed to meet the needs of its customers.
