Hale Center Theater Orem announced this past week that its current production of "The Scarlet Pimpernel" will be held over an additional week, due to popular demand.

This marks the first time in its 13-year history that a show's run has been extended, theater officials said.

The theater's next show, "Love is for the Byrds," originally scheduled to open July 25, will now open July 31 and run through Aug. 23.

Make a 'Grab' for it

Shows are at 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday, with no performance July 4. The theater is at 272 S. Main St. Call (801) 355-4628 for info.
