Perfect Date for July 31, 2008

What better than a brilliant starry sky and a cuddle-inducing night chill to create a romantic atmosphere?

This week, take your date to an intimate production of "A Midsummer Night's Dream" at Sundance resort. Shakespeare's classic comedy will be performed on the Eccles Outdoor Stage, amid treetops and forest brush that make a natural backdrop as the set. Produced in cooperation with Utah Valley University, the play will be the first on the stage since 2002 -- so grab your honey and your warmest blanket and head for the hills.

"A Midsummer Night's Dream" will be performed at 7:30 p.m., with seating available at 6:30 p.m., starting Saturday. The play runs on various nights through Aug. 23. Tickets are $15 and may be purchased by calling (866) 551-4485 or by visiting www.sundanceresort.com/create/hap_theatre.html.

What should the national anthem be?

Loading…
The Star-Spangled Banner remains an inspiring tradition.
My Country Tis of Thee is easier to sing.
America the Beautiful has loftier sentiments.
The Battle Hymn of the Republic is stirring and historic.
This Land is Your Land is catchy and idealistic.
God Bless America would be great before ball games.
Several songs can represent the United States admirably.
