Habitat fund-raiser

The third annual "Habitat for Humanity" fund-raising concert Saturday at UVSC's Center Theater will combine music and charity to help members of Utah County get a house they otherwise couldn't afford.

Local bluegrass band Miles to Go will be the featured performance at the show, cosponsored by UVSC's service learning center. Tickets are $5 per person or $20 per family and can be purchased at UVSC Campus Connection or at the door the night of the event.

'Idol' banter

One-time "American Idol" finalist Jon Peter Lewis will be performing at Velour Live Music Gallery on Wednesday.

Lewis, who appeared on the third season of "American Idol," will release his new album, "Break the Silence," on June 3. The album's debut single, "Break the Silence," was released on Tuesday.

Also on the bill are The Nadas, Donnie Bonnelli and Katie Brandeburg. For further information, call 818-BAND or visit www.velourlive.com.
