Get into the swing of things -- literally -- with Brigham Young University's Jazz Legacy Dixieland Band at the Orem Public Library at 7 p.m. Guest artists Sam Pilafian (tuba) and Bob Bailey (piano) join the band for a Mississippi music showcase in honor of "The Adventures of Tom Sawyer," the library's 2009 Big Read selection. Free.

It's the feel-good story of the year! Indie comedy "White on Rice," filmed in Utah on a shoestring budget, is now in its third weekend at Provo's Cinemark 16. It's even still showing five times a day. Take that, Hollywood! Visit www.whiteonricethemovie.com to watch the trailer.
