Local music fans probably know Ryan Innes as the guy who won the 2012 Stadium of Fire Talent Competition when he performed before a crowd of thousands on a program headlined by The Beach Boys.
Or perhaps they know him as a former member of Vocal Point, BYU's award-winning a cappella group.
Maybe they know him for his recent headline concert at the SCERA.
Whether or not Innes becomes more of a household name across the country in the weeks ahead, however, likely will come down to "The Voice."
Representatives for the hit NBC television show confirm that Innes will appear during the audition phase of the program, which begins airing tonight at 7. The auditions, which will be shown on Mondays and Tuesdays through April 9, allow contestants the opportunity to sing for the show's four judges, who, if they like what they hear, can then offer select singers a position on their team en route to competing for one ultimate champion.
Show reps could not divulge the result of Innes's audition, nor could they specify what night his performance would air. But fans should tune in starting tonight to see how he fares.
