Dolly Boren

1925 ~ 2013

Our Angel on Earth passed away peacefully at home. She was born to Marvin and Dorothy Smith on August 25, 1925 in Canda. She was raised in American Fork, Utah and moved to Springville, Utah where she was raised by her stepfather, Guy and Dorothy Brown. She went to school in Springville and helped Guy and Dorthy at Brown's Cafe. She later married Dick Jarvis and had two sons Dick and Terry. She later divorced and married Keith Boren and had three more children, Judy, Marriann and Rodney. She was preceded in death by Keith, her parents and her sisters, Vivian Jenkens and Vonnie Leetham and her children Terry and Marriann. She is survived by Dick and Heidi Jarvis, Robert and Judy (Boren) Myers and Rodney Boren. 14 grandchildren and 33 great grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren.

She worked in food service at Geneva School. She was a fantastic cook and fantastic cook and fabulous seamstress. She made many wedding dresses. She was always the one to help anyone, especially her family.

She loved them all! she was known as Grandma to everyone with her famous candy jar. She was a bright ray of sunshine that shined on us all!! She will be greatly missed.

There will be a viewing on Thursday, the 17th at Anderson Mortuary, 49 E. 100 N., American Fork from 6 to 8 pm.
