Juanita Marie Johnson Hopper

Each life comes to the earth with a purpose and leaves when it has been fulfilled.
On 8 March 2012, Juanita Marie Johnson Hopper crossed over to be again with her beloved husband Maynard Hearst Hopper.
She was born 11 March 1923 in Butler County, KY to Lawrence Elamon Johnson and Florence Gertrude Thompson. Juanita was the oldest of their four children. Her younger brothers were Lawrence E. Johnson Jr., and Philip N. Johnson, both deceased, and her younger sister, Sherry A. Johnson (Tony) Brown of California who survives her.
Juanita and Maynard were married 4 July 1943 in Indianapolis, IN and sealed with their children in the Salt Lake Temple 15 September 1969.
They had three children, Linda Diane (Dee) Lovell, Maynard Edwin (Leigh) Hopper, and Anita Elaine Hopper (deceased).
Juanita is the grandmother of eight grandchildren. They are Linda's children, Tom Lovell, Jason Lovell, Diane Lovell Kurth, and Jane Lovell Howell. Ed's children are Michael Hopper, Brooke Hopper, Kristin Hopper Sheffield, and Amanda Hopper.
She is the great-grandmother of 15. They are Tom's children Wyatt, Noah, and Logan Lovell. Jason's children are Shalese, and Jeiden Lovell. Diane's children are Spencer, Dallin, Kegan, and Laurel Kurth. Jane's children are Grant, Taylor, Mason and Claira Lin Howell, and Michael's children are Jacob and Thomas Hopper. Kegan Kurth and Grant Howell have already gone home to their Heavenly Father.
Juanita planned and escorted tours for the Orem Senior Center for 9 1/2 years. Art was her favorite hobby and she had portraits in many states. She served in many callings in the Church, and was a gifted genealogist.
A private family service will be held at a later date.
Interment will be at the Payson City Cemetery.
