Tickets for the summer tour of the contestants from this season of FOX's "American Idol" go on sale Saturday, but a special offer from Pop-Tarts toaster pastries will allow fans to purchase tickets three days earlier.
Beginning Tuesday, fans can log on to www.poptarts.com to obtain a special password they can use to buy concert tickets the next day, before they are available to the general public. Fans are allowed to purchase up to eight tickets per household for any of the concert dates.
The "American Idols Live! Tour" will stop at West Valley City's "E" Center on July 14. Murray teenager and "Idol" star David Archuleta will be part of the tour even if he is eliminated Wednesday. "American Idol" airs on channel 13 Tuesdays at 7 p.m. and Wednesdays at 8 p.m.
