A pair of American Fork runners were among 13 athletes that Utah Valley State College track coach Scott Houle has signed to the track and cross country program for the 2006-07 season. The announcement was made Dec. 22.
Of the 13 athletes, 11 are from the state of Utah. The majority of Houle's signees will compete in the distance events. Tyler Jackson and Mike Felix are the Cavemen who have committed to joining the Wolverines.
"These athletes have the passion and desire to make this a competitive program on the national level," Houle said. "These are kids that will fit in academically and are here because they want to enjoy Utah Valley State."
