ACCIDENT -- The driver of a Chevrolet Cavalier ran into a pickup truck in the northbound lanes of Interstate 15 in Orem Monday just before 11 a.m., causing the pickup to tumble off the roadway, according to the Utah Highway Patrol.

The driver of the pickup suffered minor head injuries said UHP Trooper Jeff Nigbur, a Utah Department of Public Safety spokesman. He said the accident was not blocking traffic.

BAIL SET IN RAPE ARREST -- A 28-year-old Springville man is in the Utah County Jail on $25,000 cash-only bail after police say he raped and forcibly sexually abused a woman.

Nathan Voorhees was arrested Saturday on the pending felony charges and a first appearance is scheduled for April 3 at 8:30 a.m.

BURGLARY ARREST -- A 38-year-old Orem man was arrested Sunday morning after police say he attempted to evade them by hiding in his parents' home.

Orem police say Gary Cameron fled into the home in the area of 100 North and 700 West when he saw officers approaching. Officers pursued him inside the home and apprehended him trying to escape out of a bedroom window. In the room officers noticed several valuable sports memorabilia items that had been reported stolen Saturday night from a nearby residence.

Cameron was booked into jail on felony warrants for drug possession, theft and burglary and for residential burglary.

ACCIDENT -- A 27-year-old Goshen woman was flown to the hospital after her vehicle rolled two and a half times on U.S. Highway 6 Monday afternoon.

The woman's car drifted off the road near Genola. She then overcorrected, causing the vehicle to roll, Utah Highway Patrol officials said. The woman was ejected from her car on the second roll. It hasn't been determined whether she was wearing a seat belt.

She sustained critical injuries and was flown to the University of Utah Hospital. No other vehicles or passengers were involved in the accident.

ACCIDENT -- A Utah County man was taken to the hospital after his vehicle rolled on Interstate 15 in Provo Monday evening.

The victim, in his late 40s or early 50s, was traveling north when the vehicle in front of him began to lose control, causing him to swerve and roll his vehicle. The accident happened near the University Parkway exit in Orem.

The man was taken to Utah Valley Regional Medical Center as a precaution. There were no other passengers in his vehicle.
