House Representatives on Monday stood during a moment of silence with supporters of those who experienced a deadly rollover last September while returning from a field trip.
Eight students and one teacher from Utah State University died as a result of the crash. One of them was Curt Madsen, 23, of Payson.
"We as a body appreciate you being here," said Rep. Ronda Menlove, R-Garland, in whose district the crash occurred.
The family of Jared Nelson, 22, of Provo, was present. One of two survivors, Nelson is currently receiving therapy treatment at a care facility, according to Menlove.
