AUTO BURGLARY -- Orem police arrested a suspected auto burglar Thursday after the man reportedly returned to the scene of his crime. Police say 26-year-old J. Felix Marcos Pena-Munoz was a suspect in several break-ins at an Orem auto dealership. Surveillance equipment was set up to monitor the dealership and a blue and tan Ford Expedition was identified as the suspect's vehicle. Pena-Munoz was seen on video breaking into a Ford Expedition to take a DVD system, according to police. At the time, he had not been positively identified as the man in the video, but Pena-Munoz returned and drove through the lot in his tan and blue Expedition. The man was followed home by an employee of the dealership and later police arrived to question him about the burglaries. Officers spoke with Pena-Munoz at his home, where he denied everything in English. However, as he spoke with police Pena-Munoz instructed his wife in Spanish to hide the stolen stereos, according to police. His wife moved the equipment, but the employee from the dealership was parked outside watching. Pena-Munoz's wife then cooperated with officers and several stolen items were reportedly found in a back bedroom, including the DVD player from the dealership.
