The Lights On Celebration allows two kids, who were picked by a raffle, to flip a switch which activates the lights at City Center. The celebration also is a way for Orem City to kickstart their Share the Season campaign, in which the city works with a local non-profit organization. This year they will be working with the Food & Care Coalition, an organization that works with the homeless and needy of Utah County. Between December 1 and 19 the city will be collecting items to help the Food & Care Coalition. One of the best ways to donate is by grocery store gift cards.
