It's been a little more than four months since 13-year-old Jaden Bliss debuted her music album during the 2006 National Guard Association Utah Conference at Camp Williams.

A collection of seven songs she wrote and composed with her father, Jeff Bliss, "Bless Our Soldiers Tonight" was written to show support for the military fighting the War on Terror.

"Things have really kind of taken off," Jeff Bliss said. "Attorney General Mark Shurtleff heard her sing on the Bob Lonsberry Show then they arranged for her to sing at both of the Freedom Rallies last Wednesday. He even tried to arrange for her to sing for President Bush, but he just didn't have enough time."

Monday evening the Lehi eighth-grader sang her songs at Chief Wiggles Operation Give's 9/11 event at Salt Lake City's Liberty Park after the Freedom Walk was completed. The Chief Wiggles Operation Give Program gives its proceeds to children in crisis where United States military personnel serve around the world.

Some 300 "Bless Our Soldiers Tonight" CDs have been purchased and Jaden wants to use the money from the proceeds for The Freedom Alliance Fund and The Children of the Fallen Soldiers Relief Fund.

"Oh yes, it's been going great, a better turnout than I expected," Jaden said. "I really want to be able to personally hand Sean Hannity a check and be able to sing at his Freedom Concert next year." Hannity is a syndicated conservative talk show host who promotes The Freedom Alliance Fund, founded by Lt.Col. Oliver North as a scholarship fund for children of military personnel.

Ron Saltmarsh, who produced and arranged the album, said Jeff Bliss brought him over a couple of songs. "And I said, 'You know what, this is something I want to be involved in,' " Saltmarsh said, and donated his time.

Jaden's $10 CD and singles can be purchased at www.blessoursoldiers.com.
