According to a police affidavit, Devan Diamond, Dakota Fraughton and Lea Hebertson planned to meet a man in Orem to buy heroin. However, the group threatened the man with a handgun and a hammer and stole 11 balloons of heroin.

The man reported the incident to police, who located the suspects at an Arby's restaurant and tried to block them in, according to the report. The driver, Diamond, allegedly drove over a curb and into oncoming traffic before police stopped the vehicle at 1000 S. State St. Diamond allegedly admitted to the robbery and said he swallowed six of the balloons, while Fraughton allegedly swallowed five.

Both vomited the balloons before the three were transported to the Utah County Jail on several charges, including aggravated robbery.
