Jason Oldroyd, son of Burt and Cori Oldroyd, Fountain Green, won the Watershed Education Poster Contest at Fountain Green Elementary School and will represent the school at the Sevier River Basin contest. If his poster is selected, he will continue on to the State Poster Contest. Watershed Education and preservation is part of the State Science CORE for all 4th graders in Utah. The contest's theme, "Every Drop Counts", not only promotes conservation through creative art, but also educates students and communities about preserving local watersheds. Fountain Green has first-hand experience from being ravaged in past year's fires and floods.
