MT. PLEASANT-- North Sanpete High School concert choir will perform Sunday, Dec. 2, at 11 a.m., during the worship service at the First Presbyterian Church,100 South 100 West, Mt. Pleasant.

It has become a tradition for the concert choir to sing at local churches during the advent season. The choir has excelled for many years under the direction of Dr. Roy Ellefsen, with accompanist Anna Aagard.

Both Dr. Ellefsen and Aagard are retiring this year, so this will be one of the last opportunities for the community to enjoy their performances with the high school choir.

The church will also host the traditional Christmas Eve service, with special music by the bell choir and other community members at 7 p.m., Monday, Dec. 24.

The public is encouraged to attend the worship service and enjoy the outstanding music of the choir and also the Christmas Eve service.
