SALT LAKE CITY -- More than 1,000 mourners gathered this weekend at funeral services for a pregnant woman and two of her children killed Feb. 9 when their car collided with a suspected drunk driver.

Forty-one-year old Michelle Williams was remembered as an upbeat, enthusiastic and perfect mother. She was five months pregnant with a baby boy.

Daughter Anna, 9, was said to be "quiet on the outside," but also silly. And 11-year-old Ben was a goofball, with a sensitive side, who was also the family's entertainer.

"The world was truly a stage, and he was always in its spotlight," his father Chris Williams said in written remarks read by another family member.

Chris Williams and another son, Sam, 6, were also injured in the accident. Another son, Michael, 14, was not with the family. He attended services with his father Saturday, while Sam remained hospitalized.

Salt Lake County prosecutors have charged 17-year-old Cameron White with second-degree automobile homicide, driving while under the influence of alcohol, causing serious bodily injury, and failure to stop at the scene of an injury accident. They've asked a 3rd District Juvenile Court judge to allow White to be charged as an adult.

Police say White was driving his Jeep in the wrong lane Feb. 9, when he collided with the Williams' car. White fled the scene on foot and was found by police five blocks away. His blood- alcohol level was 0.15, nearly double the legal limit of 0.08, police said.

Chris Williams, a bishop in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, has said he's forgiven White. Offering graveside prayer Saturday, Williams asked for the community to be granted "the peace that we feel."
