A few curious bills and resolutions

House Joint Resolution 2 -- affirms the importance of mobile home parks in Utah's housing market.

House Joint Resolution 4 -- urges the state board of education to close public schools on Veterans Day to allow students to more fully recognize veterans for preserving freedom for the United States and its citizens.

House Bill 27 -- allows the lieutenant governor and designated employees to administer oaths.

House Bill 32 -- defines agri-tourism and then provides an affirmative defense for an owner or operator of an agri-tourism activity if an injured person disregarded safety measures; or if any equipment, including animals, utilized during the activity was used in an unsafe manner

House Bill 246 -- changes the state tree from the blue spruce to the Utah juniper.

Senate Bill 33 -- calls for comprehensive and consistent inventories of state-owned art

Senate Bill 94 -- modifies the Utah Criminal Code by making burglary of a railroad car a third-degree felony.

Senate Bill 99 -- modifies the prescription requirement for purposes of the sales and use tax exemption for prosthetic devices.

Senate Bill 109 -- prohibits a poll worker from wearing or displaying a logo, insignia, letters, or words that disclose the poll worker's support of, opposition to, or affiliation with a candidate, political party, political issue, corporation, or advocacy organization.
