SALT LAKE CITY -- A minor earthquake trembled through Salt Lake City's east bench this morning.
The U.S. Geological Survey says the quake hit at 4:22 this morning and had a magnitude of 2.1 on the Richter scale. It was centered about 10 miles east-northeast of the city.
Police say they have received a few calls, but no damage has been reported.
The last earthquake that could be felt in the area occurred Feb. 21. Centered 11 miles southeast of Wells, Nev., the 6.0-magnitude quake shook places as far away as Twin Falls, Idaho, and Southern California.
