This bill would modify the Lobbyist Disclosure and Regulation Act and a reporting section of the Election Code. It would require lobbyists to report the recipients of just about all gifts, meals and travel -- a tighter standard than currently exists.

SB 19 Amendments to Indoor Clean Air Act

HB 85: Abortion by a Minor -- Parental Notification and Consent

HB 222: Unborn Child Pain Prevention Act

This bill would require a physician performing an abortion on a fetus that's at least 20 weeks old to inform the mother of drugs that would alleviate pain to the fetus.

SB 16: Weapons Amendments

This bill would remove the prohibition from carrying a loaded firearm in or on a vehicle, conditioned on the vehicle being lawfully under the person's control; and would provide that a person may have a loaded firearm at the person's residence, on the person's property, in or on a vehicle legally under the person's control and at a business under the person's control.
What's happening: It will be heard in the Senate Judiciary, Law Enforcement and Criminal Justice Committee at 2:30 p.m. today in Room 130 of the West Office Building at the State Capitol Complex.
