• ASSAULT -- Lindon police arrested 21-year-old Jason Paul Fage Wednesday after he allegedly threatened family members with a shotgun.
According to a police affidavit, Fage consumed large amounts of alcohol and illegal drugs before breaking several locked doors and damaging walls in a Lindon home. A person reportedly tried to stop Fage, but Fage entered his room and loaded a 12-gauge shotgun, telling the man he was going to shoot him in the face. The man reportedly ran from the room, but Fage later left the room and continued to fight with the man.
Police arrived on scene and arrested Fage at gunpoint, after which they found the loaded shotgun and a second gun in Fage's room, according to the affidavit. Fage allegedly said multiple times that he wished his entire family would die. Fage was arrested on suspicion of aggravated assault, possession of a weapon by a restricted person, criminal mischief, public intoxication and disorderly conduct.
• BURGLARY -- Three juveniles will be facing burglary charges in juvenile court after they allegedly broke into a school.
According to an Orem press release, a 12-year-old and two 13-year-olds were found outside Orem Junior High after stealing items from the school. The three allegedly found an open window and climbed into the school, where they stole food items.
