"We want to make a nice place for families to watch a movie and for their kids to work," says Spencer Marsen, partner in the investment group that recently purchased Spanish 8 movie theater. M3B Partners own other theaters he said. The company is enthusiastic about opening a theater in Spanish Fork and will feature first run films. But they are also examining the possiblility of some discount showings.

M3B is focused on getting the theater ready to reopen by the end of the month.

After they finish a through assement of the building, the company will do a clean up and equipment tune up to ensure the theater works smoothly. That includes re-calibration of the projectors. The partners of M3B are intent on "showing we can run a good theater." he said. They will spruce up the interior and he said probably recarpet before the official grand opening. Marsen added they plan a "grand time at the grand opening."

Marsden and his partners intend to hire locally. Marsden said they are looking for good, clean, hard workers and he added their company has a personal grooming and dress policy. Marsden indicated M3B is committed to running a movie theater in Spanish Fork and want to make is a positive, family oriented movie going experience.
