She sports a blonde, A-line bob, brown Vans skateboard shoes, jeans, a multilayer top, freckles and braces, and blushes pink when asked about her "crush."

Jaden Bliss may appear to be the average, 12-year-old, Utah County seventh-grader, until she confidently walks on a stage and begins to sing.

She has a strong, clear soprano voice and an underlying passion for the message she hopes to get across to her audience -- she loves America and is proud of the soldiers who defend her.

That passion is reflected in her newly released CD of seven songs written by Jaden. All proceeds from the $10 CD will go to the Freedom Alliance Fund and the Fallen Soldiers Relief Fund.

"I'm excited, it's going to be an exciting adventure doing all this," Jaden said.

She was able to kick off her CD promotion with two songs -- "God Bless Our Soldiers Tonight" and "So Proud" -- to some 50 Utah Air and Army National Guard officers at the annual National Guard Association Utah Conference at Camp Williams on April 22.

Several of the officers stopped after the conference and bought her CD.

Captain Karen Nuccitelli of Eagle Mountain and full time Air National Guard member based out of Camp Williams listened to Jaden sing and said she wanted to share her reaction to the young girl's words.

"I'm very proud to see the youth of today can be touched and inspired by those who are making sacrifices for their freedoms," Nuccitelli said.

Jaden enjoyed creating the songs with her father.

Recorded at Symphonix Studio, the CD was produced and arranged by Ron Saltmarsh, a friend of Jeff Bliss from his LDS mission days. Saltmarsh said Jeff Bliss brought him over a couple of songs.

"And I said, 'You know what, this is something I want to be involved in,'" Saltmarsh said, and donated his time.
