Police have arrested a Provo man after it was reported he sexually assaulted a woman holding a yard sale.
Jeronimo Sanchez-Tolentino repeatedly walked by the yard sale on Saturday to speak to a woman who was overseeing it, police say. On the last occasion, Sanchez-Tolentino allegedly came up behind the woman as she was on her cell phone and began doing "gross" things to her face, including kissing, licking and trying to make her drink something from a bottle of Gatorade.
The woman repeatedly tried to break free and told police that the suspect grabbed her breasts. She eventually broke free and made it to her apartment and locked the door. Sanchez-Tolentino repeatedly tried to enter the apartment as the woman grabbed a gun in the home and called police.
Sanchez-Tolentino has denied touching the woman, except to give her a "high five" and only went to her door to tell her someone wanted to buy something from the yard sale, police say.
According to records, the women's sister was on the other end of the cell phone call during the attack and heard much of what happened.
Sanchez-Tolentino was arrested on charges of second-degree forcible sexual abuse and class C misdemeanor intoxication.
