Country Farm Fest
15-17 October 2009
10:00am - 9:00pm
Announcing the 3rd annual Country Farm Fest. The festival was created to celebrate fall, foster community involvement, and provide good, clean, country fun for the entire family.
The Country Farm Fest is a grass roots organization that presents a unique, agriculturally-based event providing handmade and homegrown products. The Fest is held on a small working farm that sits in a valley surrounded by beautiful mountains and rich fields.
An antique tractor display commemorates the richness of our heritage and autumn's bounty is celebrated with a pumpkin carving contest, a pumpkin weigh-off, costume contests, and colorful displays. A fall harvest market offers an array of produce with a large variety of pumpkins, gourds, seasonal fruit, and fall decorations.
This event offers the community a taste of farm life and country living as well as providing a venue for local artists who contribute their talents such as singing and cowboy poetry along with a variety of traditional demonstrations including blacksmithing, sheep shearing, horse training, and spinning.
