Ida L. Coleman, age 88, of Springville, Utah, passed away peacefully in South Jordan, at the home of her daughter, Lisa Boyer, on June 27, 2009. She was born June 7, 1921 in Kane, Wyoming, to Joseph Merrill Lowe and Emily Beal.

She married George Arthur Coleman Nov. 15, 1939 in Provo. They were sealed in the Jordan River LDS Temple.

Ida retired from the Utah State Hospital after 20 years of service. She loved to garden, quilt, read, bake and do all kinds of handiwork, but most of all she loved her family.

She was a faithful member of the LDS church and was proud of her 30 years service in the Primary.

She is survived by five children: Eugene (Pat), Keith (Terrie), JoAnne (Alan Groo), Kevin (Laura), Lisa (Jim Boyer); 29 grandchildren, 49 great-grandchildren and siblings: Gail, Roger, Allen and LuNell. She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years and two sons, Steven and Gerald (Judy); brothers, Ivan and Shirl Lowe; and sister, Gloria.
