The road project in Springville is nearing completion and drivers are asked to remember that 400 South remains closed from 1750 West to Main Street. Motorists should continue to use the alternative routes until 400 South has re-opened. 400 South is still on schedule to be re-opened before Thanksgiving.

The north side of the bridge deck in the I-15 Interchange area at 400 South (SR-77) has been poured. Crews are building the transition areas between the bridge and road. Construction of the sidewalls (parapets) continues. Concrete will be placed at both areas by Nov. 7.

Crews are installing curb and gutter from the interchange to the west frontage road. Reconstruction of 400 South in this area is underway and will be complete by Nov. 7.

Reconstruction of the south half of the road is underway in the 1750 West area. Crews are placing road base and will pave this area by Nov. 7.

The entrance from 400 South into the business area at the southwest corner of 1750 West (between Del Taco and IHOP) will remain closed through Nov. 7. Motorists will need to use 1750 West to enter this area.

Signs and other traffic control measures are in place to guide motorists through the area. Please use caution when traveling through the intersection.

Paving operations are nearly complete in the 1500 West area. Crews are placing the top portions of the retaining wall and landscaping the median.

At the 400 West bridge, work continues on the top portions of the retaining walls along the south side of the bridge. The bridge deck has been sealed and crews are installing fence and landscaping at the bridge.

Crews will place sidewalk in front of homes along the north side of 400 South between 200 West and 400 West. Driveways will also be graded and concrete placed within this area. Residents will need to park on the street for approximately one week while the concrete cures.

The speed limit along I-15 is reduced to 55 mph through the construction zone. Please drive the posted speed limits along the detour routes and remember that fines for speeding in a construction zone are doubled.

Work hours are between 7 a.m. and 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday. Please use caution as you travel through the construction area as heavy equipment and crews are working nearby.
