The Springville Library is hosting a Scholastic Book Fair this week. It opened Tuesday and will end on Friday. All proceeds will go to the Springville Library Foundation and will be used to furnish the new children's library.

There are many children's books available for purchase. These include picture books and chapter books appropriate for elementary school age children.

There are also various gifts, novelty items and educational software available for purchase. The book fair is in the old city council room, just down the hall from the library. Hours are 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
