If you are looking for quality clothing at outlet prices the newly opened Mod Bod store is a great place to shop. The grand opening was held July 8, 9 and 10 at 1180 N. Main Street in Springville with extended store hours for the event.

The outlet will now only be open on Fridays and Saturdays but may extend their days and hours soon.

Mod Bod is a locally owned company which started in 2004 and has grown from a direct marketing brand and online sales to include several retail locations including Nordstrom and Costco.

According to store manager Lauree Kirkham the modest affordable camisoles and tank tops are very popular. She said, "We have a really good selection here at the factory outlet store. We have Undertease brand and Blend fashions, which are very popular brands with a lot of the girls. Customers are surprised to find such good quality at these prices."

Irregular shirts start at just $5, premium shirts sell between $9 and $14 for the long sleeve style. Modest swimsuits are a bargain at only $10 for each piece. There is even a limited selection of men's wear.

Sales clerk Brandi Hillock, age 19, is excited to work at Mod Bod for the summer before she returns to SUU in the fall. Hillock was enthusiastic about her job and said, "I love the people I work for and it's a fun store to work in. I bought a really cute skirt this week - I know I'll be spending a lot of my paycheck on clothes!"

The Coss family girls came to shop at the outlet all the way from American Fork. Madison, age 16, was looking for a dress for church and her younger sister Olivia, age 14, was looking at the shoes. Little sister Mia, age 8, even found some clothing in her size.

With three girls' wardrobes to shop for, their mom, River Coss, was happy to make the drive to Springville to go shopping. "This store was recommended to me from a friend and they do have amazing prices. I think people are going to be really happy the factory outlet is available now," she said.
