As a single mother to a 5-year-old son, Angela had always been able to handle Christmas by herself. But this year, her son needed a new pair of glasses. The only money for this unexpected purchase was her Christmas fund, and so while her son can now see fine again, his Christmas was looking bleak. Angela turned to Sub for Santa for help.
"I've always done Christmas by myself but I just couldn't this year," she said tearfully.
Her son needs pajamas and a new sweater.
"He loves books, any kind of books," she said. "And he loves music. And we don't have any board games, so I thought a child's board game we could play together would be nice."
Her son most of all has his sights set on a something called a Stuffy -- a stuffed animal that doubles as a pillow and has a pocket for stashing small treasures.
