A letter writer has referenced some impressive sounding sources about the subject of "global warming." However, these agencies receive their funding because of their favorable result global warming research. May I suggest three books written by respected and legitimate climatologists:
"Unstoppable Global Warming" by S. Fred Singer and Dennis T. Avery.
"Red Hot Lies" by Christopher C. Horner
"The Politically Incorrect Guide to Global Warming" by Christopher C. Horner
These authors explain why radical climatology people make the claims they make; and then they present data for evidence that man-made global warming is not true.
And they also present evidence that the so-called greenhouse gases are not responsible for global warming. In fact, there is no global warming. There is just as much ice in the arctic now as there was in 1979; the ice is increasing in the Antarctic; and a glacier in Argentina which scientists think should be decreasing, is actually growing.
In addition to the above, I read in the newspaper a few weeks ago, that the Atlantic Ocean is actually a little cooler this year, so they are predicting that there will not be as many tornadoes as they had previously thought.
